A glimpse back at 2015

01.06.2016

2015 was a monumental year at Summers Corner. We opened the Corner House Cafe and Information Center. We started construction on Sand Hill Elementary School, Rollings Middle School of the Arts, and the Performing Arts Center. We hosted more than 1,000 guests at our model grand opening. If you came out to any of our events or visited the Corner House for a relaxing cup of coffee, a hearty and heartfelt thank you!

We couldn’t be more excited to watch Summers Corner grow throughout 2016. But first – a quick journey through a year of major milestones via some of our most read blog posts:

It feels like home. The Corner House grand opening and model home sneak peek event was the community’s first glimpse into life at Summers Corner. It was our first opportunity to bring friends and family and neighbors together in the place we like to call home.

Why you should make the move to Summerville. It’s no secret that we’re smitten with this Flowertown in the Pines. There is truly something special about Summerville!

Planting the seeds. How does one know they have entered a community in a garden? Look for the gardeners, of course! The Homestead at Summers Corner is now home to the Clemson University Extension Master Gardeners.

Stroll, hike, or bike: Summers Corner’s extensive trail system. Nature is on display here at Summers Corner, and oh how beautiful it is! We’re building an extensive trail system so residents can explore this stunning piece of South Carolina Lowcountry.

A glimpse of Summers Corner’s grand opening. The sun was shining on Summers Corner September 19th as we officially opened our six stunning model homes.
