Connecting the Community and Builders at Buffalo Lake Pavilion

05.21.2015

Buffalo Lake Pavilion is the first place we’re nurturing the seeds of community at Summers Corner. It’s a place to relax and refresh, play and pause, unplug from technology and plug-in to family and friends.

Furnished with a fishing dock, kayak and canoe launch, deep benches and welcoming fire pits, every amenity celebrates the lake and the stunning natural environment of the Lowcountry.

We recently welcomed potential residents, interested community members, realtors and others to meet, greet and eat at the lake.

The whole day evoked a simpler time and place. And it started with a warm greeting aboard a mint green 1955 Crown Supercoach. The bus spirited guests lakeside, where they enjoyed Southern flavors from Cast Iron Food Truck and delicious natural sodas by Cannonborough Beverage Company. And our talented friends from the band HoneySmoke provided a great soundtrack to the day.

Much of what we do at Summer’s Corner is based on an ancient, but very simple idea: people living in harmony with nature. The garden is our inspiration. That’s why guests had the chance to test their “green thumbs” by making seed bombs and paper seed pots.  Future neighbors got to connect with one another, but also with our builders. Together we viewed home plans, studied landscaping ideas and shared a piece of what life will be like at Summers Corner.
