What is the price range for homes?

What types of homes are available?
There are a broad range of home styles and sizes, each designed to “live inside out”— with broad front porches and picturesque windows that connect to the surrounding landscape of gardens, parks, woods and wetlands. The architecture in Summers Corner is inspired by variety of traditional Lowcountry styles reminiscent of the historic homes of the region.

What are the yards like?
Summers Corner encourages homeowners to continue our “community in a garden” aesthetic in all sorts of ways—from flowerpots to birdhouses to vegetable gardens. We want our residents to love being outdoors and how it provides a place to connect with friends and family. The homesites themselves vary in shape and size, recalling historic Lowcountry settlements.

Who manages the Home Owners Association?
The Summers Corner Home Owner Association is managed by Associa. Our HOA office is located adjacent to Corner House Café + Information in the homestead building. HOA fees are $675 per year, plus 1/6 of the annual HOA fee due at closing.

HOA fees cover the costs of maintaining the common areas in the community. This includes the landscaping and irrigation expenses for the common areas; access to parks, ponds and trails; and the use of amenities such as Buffalo Lake House, swimming pools, community gardens, etc. The Association will also provide lifestyle activities for members of the community, which may include seasonal outings, kid’s events, holiday parties, fitness classes, community clubs and interest groups. The Association fees also include curbside pickup of residential trash and recycling.
