Postcards from the Sweet Tea Trail

The historic Timrod Library is pleased to announce the return of the award-winning storytelling series “Postcards From the Sweet Tea Trail.”  Resident Storyteller Tim Lowry will present eight concerts featuring stories from local history, folklore of the Old South, holiday favorites, and literary classics.

The 2015/2016 concert season includes:

September 18 – Every Inch a Gentleman, Stories from Colonial South Carolina

October 16 – Two Dead Fishermen and Other Grave Tales, Folklore of the Old South

November 20 – Home Sweet Home, Stories of the American Family

All shows begin at 3:00 pm at the Timrod Library, 217 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Admission is $18 ($3 discount for Timrod members) and includes light refreshments.
