Food is Love: Teen Chocolate Making Workshop

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a chocolate making workshop?

Teens (ages 12 to 18) are invited to unleash their inner chocolatier at Summers Corners’ “Food is Love” event on Saturday, February 13 where they will learn to make different kinds of chocolate truffles.

Summerville Chef Herman McNeill will lead teens step-by-step to prepare delectable chocolate treats. Teen chefs will create truffles, and the Summers Corner staff will provide cellophane bags and ribbons to transform them into gifts.

The workshop will take place at the Corner House at 1609 Beech Hill Road, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 13. The program is $15, plus a small service fee. Space is limited, so book here or phone 843.377.8844 to reserve a spot.

Parent chauffeurs are welcome to relax in the adjacent café during the workshop while enjoying complimentary coffee drinks.
